Larry Lee Iveson, 77, of Coldwater, passed away Tuesday, March 08, 2016 at his home while surrounded by his loving family.
In following Larry’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will be held at a later date. The family was cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.
Larry was born August 20, 1938 to Hubert and Mabel (Stratton) Iveson in Reading Township. After graduating from high school, he proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. On January 1, 1960, Larry married the love of his life Jacquelyn Flint. He owned and operated Graphics 3 in both Coldwater and Hillsdale, beginning his career on January 1, 1967. Never one to sit still, Larry began a second business in 1998 as co-owner of Blackberry Patch Golf Club. Larry truly never retired as he continued to help wherever he could.
Larry was active in the Coldwater community belonging to the Jaycees, Noon Rotary, the Chamber of Commerce, and the Economic Growth Alliance. He was a man of faith and attended The First Baptist Church in Coldwater. Larry enjoyed many hobbies including vintage cars, Cushman scooters, mowing and utilizing his handyman skills to help others. His true joy in life was his family. He will be remembered as an easy going, creative, and thoughtful man. Larry always had a smile on his face and never passed up an opportunity to make those around him smile by teasing, tormenting, and joking. He will be missed by many.
