Condolences

Condolence From: Barbara Church
Condolence: Dear Sandy and family: I am very sorry to hear about Dorothy's passing. I have not worked as I fell and broke my arm, but did get her a Christmas card and took it in to her. She will always be remembered for her smiling face and her honoree way. My prayers go out to both of you. She is not suffering anymore and is at peace that is for sure.

Condolence: We so miss seeing Dorothy coming into City hall. She always had a smile on her face. Each year I collect toys for "Toys for Tots" from our employees. When she could, Dorothy always brought in some toys. A couple of times when she couldn't make it here, she'd call and I'd stop by the house for her donation. She always wanted to make sure children in the area had a brighter Christmas. The last few times I saw her at Drew's Place, it broke my heart. We all hate to lose her, but thankful she is at peace.

Condolence: I'm so sorry for your lost. Death is truly a tragic thing to deal with. However the bible say that there is going to be a resurrection at Acts 24:15. So we all do have a hope of being reunited with our dead loves ones. (John 5:28,29) We can believe this because God is the creator of life and the one who gave life to all living creatures is certainly capable of restoring life to someone who has died. (Psalm 36:9 ; Acts 17:24,25) He has also resurrected humans in the past and the bible reports eight instances of humans young, old, male and female who were brought back to life on earth. Some had been dead for a short while, but one had been in a tomb for 4 days. (read John 11:39-44) And finally God hates death, he views it as a enemy (1 Corinthians 15:26) He has a longing to conquer that enemy, to undo death by means of this resurrection. He yearns to bring back those who are in his memory and to see them live on earth again, so until that promise is fulfilled may the God Of Comfort be with you during this difficult time. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4)
