Condolence From: Dave Broberg
Condolence: Dear Ken, Dale, Jean, and Suzy My sister informed me of Rolly's passing through Cindy Penick. I share your loss but at the same time I have great warm memories of your family and the way Your mom and dad shared their family, time and love with the Broberg kids. I had one of those moments that give you pause on Monday morning when I was on my way to the shop. I had a thought about your Dad just out of the blue and I was thinking how he was one of the last Mohicans of adults that I interacted with in a personal way. When I got home that evening Mary had sent me an email that said he was not doing well. I often think of your dad and your family when something causes me to remember castrating pigs or baling hay. Your mom and dad treated me as part of the family and your dad never complained about my work the way my dad did. Rolly was my first experience having a boss and I could not have had a better one. I know you will miss him and there wil be avoid that can never be filled but rest assured he and all of your family will always have a special place in our hearts. I would like to give a special thanks to Dale for coming to my Dads visitation and Lisa's remembrance in Athens as it meant a lot to us. Hang in there. Your neighbor, Dave

Condolence: Dear Norton Family, Dad also piloted a B-17G and on at least one Mission, flew in the same formation as Rolland. It was for this reason that I was able to meet Mr. Norton and enjoy supper at Bill's Steakhouse with him and Ken a few months ago. What a delightful and cheerful gentleman he was! I don't think he ever stopped smiling. A great memory of an even greater individual. Our heartfelt prayers go out to the Norton Family. The Jenkins Families

Condolence: We send you our deepest sympathies in the passing of your father. He was a wonderful man--so incredibly passionate about life and his family and friends. It was a pleasure to have known him, even though first hand only from a few visits and phone calls, and Christmas cards. Susie, I've known him more through the stories you have relayed to me, and the latest from our face time with him while you were in Florida! Our thoughts are with you all in this difficult time.
