Joyce E. Fraser, 78, a lifelong resident of Coldwater, passed away on Friday, December 25, 2015 at Community Health Center of Branch County.
A funeral service will be held at 12:30 PM, Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Pastor Dave Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove cemetery in Coldwater. Visitation will take place on Monday, December 28, 2015 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Joyce was born February 19, 1937 to Lloyd M. and Vera B. (Shook) Luce in Coldwater. After graduating from Coldwater High School she married her high school sweetheart Larry T. Fraser on September 15, 1956 in Coldwater. Joyce was not only a homemaker but she helped manage the farm with her husband.
Joyce volunteered as a leader of the Triangle 4-H Club as well as being the superintendent of clothing at the Branch County Fair. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends, going to her weekly coffee group and spending time with her family and on the farm.
She is survived by her husband Larry of Coldwater; her children, Bryan (Nancy) Fraser of Coldwater and Becky (Jeff) Traskos of Coldwater; her grandchildren, Jonathan Fraser, Taylor (Kaite) Fraser, Cody (Jennifer) Kosmerick all of Coldwater, Cheyenne Kosmerick of Bronson and Kyli Traskos of Coldwater; her great grandchildren, Quentin and Madilynn Kosmerick and Braelyn Miller. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Mervin Luce.
