Obituary for Kathy Jo Snyder

Kathy Jo Snyder, 56 of Coldwater passed away on Friday, November 20, 2015 at Borgess Medical Center from a brain aneurism.

In following Kathy’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Kathy’s family will have a memorial service at 3:00 PM on Sunday, November 29, 2015 at Northview Christian Church of Coldwater officiated by Terry Bindon. The family was cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.

Kathy was born July 19, 1959 to Leroy and Lucille (White) Endsley in Huntington, Indiana. Kathy worked in the food service industry most of her life and her most recent job landed her in her beloved town of Bronson serving breakfast to some of her favorite people daily at Viking Express. She looked forward to going to work and seeing her regular customers each day.

Kathy enjoyed spending time with her family. She was quick to get on the floor to build with blocks, do puzzles or just be silly with her grandchildren. Kathy had many hobbies including bowling, kayaking, and playing games. She will be remembered as a loving, kind, and outgoing woman with a peaceful demeanor. Her family will always remember her cooking. Kathy will be missed by many.

Kathy is survived by her husband of 27 years, David Snyder of Bronson; her children Jeremiah Bartrum of South Bend, Sabrina (Randy) Freshour of Vandalia; her mother Lucille Endsley of Huntington, IN; her step-children David (Elizabeth) Snyder of Coldwater, and Michelle (Kirke) Best of Lowville, NY; her siblings Janet (Cecil) Richardson of Richmond, IN, Bill (Pat) Endsley of Van Buren, IN, Donna (Mike) Alexander of Marion, IN, and Diana Hamilton of Oak Hill, WV; her mother-in-law Lois Snyder of Coldwater; her grandchildren Tayton, Korbin, Carson, Caleb, Little Mack, Mariah, and Lucas; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Leroy Endsley and her father-in-law David A. Snyder.
