Obituary for Xachary W. Trayling

Xachary W.  Trayling
Xachary Wellington Trayling, 21 of Coldwater passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 18, 2015 at his home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 12:00 Noon at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Coldwater with the Very Rev. Mark Vyverman officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Coldwater. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 22, 2015 from 5 - 8:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater and again at St. Charles prior to the service on Wednesday from 11 – 12:00 Noon.

Xachary was born February 8, 1994 to John and Anita (Leibering) Trayling in Sturgis. He was an entrepreneur, owning and operating Trayling Greenhouse Construction. Xachary coached cross country track at St. Mary’s school. He was a sportsman, playing baseball, football, and basketball in school and recreation softball after high school. Xachary had many nicknames, two being “X man” and “Mad Dog”. He was an avid Notre Dame supporter. Xach liked hunting and fishing when he had the opportunity. He will be remembered as being cheerful, always pulling for the underdog, and his love of animals. Mostly, he loved his family and close friends. He will be missed by many.

Mr. Trayling is survived by his parents John “Jack” (Anita) Trayling of Coldwater; his girlfriend Chelcie Hasbrouck of Coldwater; his sister Xenah Trayling of Coldwater; his brother Xeidler Trayling of Coldwater; his grandparents Carol Trayling of Sturgis, Dennis (Arlene) Wagner of St. Anthony, IN, and Steve (Peggy) Leibering of Ferdinand, IN; his great grandmother Alberta Leibering of Huntingburg, IN; his aunts Laura (John) Buse of Huntingburg, IN; Chelsea Leibering of Otsego, his uncle Shane Leibering of Huntingburg, IN, his nephew Frederick Trayling; his cousin Eli Buse; several great aunts and uncles; many family pets. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Frederick D. Trayling; great grandmother Edna Sink; great grandparents Orval (Ruby) Katterhenry; and great grandfather Eugene Leibering.
