Condolences

Condolence From: Dan Purtill
Condolence: Last week I was at Camp Northwoods Scout camp in Lupton. 900 or so scouts from around the world attended for an International event. Steve was there in spirit as he was in 1962 when the camp opened. The camp is now closed but the memories of Steve and the work he did to improve the camp and scouting will be long remembered. The scout chapel was one of Steve's most precious activities. Blessings to him and family at this 1 year anniversary. Miss you buddy.

Condolence: I also met Steve in Florida. He was so sweet to arrange our stay in his cousin's beautiful condo one winter. I know he will be missed by his many friends and family. Rest in peace Steve. You fought a long, hard battle. Yet you continued to smile when friends came to call.

Condolence: Steve was an old friend from our times in the Boy Scouts and Order of the Arrow. We spent many a Saturday in his parents home on Richards St eating his mothers bread and having teen age fun. We shared jobs at Camp Kiroliex near Jackson, and enjoyed good times and lots of memories. I'm sure he is in a better place now, and that his family will remember him fondly. May all of your memories be as positive as mine.
