Betty Jo Burritt, 86 of Coldwater, MI died Friday July 24, 2015 at her daughter’s home in Belton, SC.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday July 31, 2015 at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater, MI with Reverend John R Morris officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Quincy. Visitation will take place on Thursday July 30, 2015 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Betty was born April 24, 1929 in Tecumseh MI to Charles & Elizabeth (Salsbury) Spillman. Betty married Erwin Burritt January 25, 1947 in Fremont he preceded her in death November 8, 2000.

Betty owned and operated Betty Jo’s Beauty Salon in Coldwater for 1 year prior to going to work for U of M School of Dentistry as patient records and data entry personal retiring in 1985. She was a member of Lockwood Community Church, Order of Eastern Star, life member of the Quincy American Legion Auxiliary and DAV. She enjoyed camping, traveling, volunteering at HC Burnside Senior Center lunch program.

Survivors include: Son, Thomas Burritt and wife Sandra of The Villages, Fl., daughters, Linda Anderson of Belton, SC., Deborah Houvener of Butler, In., and Denice Burritt of South Haven, Mi., brother, Charles Spillman of Adrian, Mi., 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 7 great, great grandchildren.
