Obituary for Edward L. Parshall

Edward Lee Parshall, 76, of Quincy, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2005 surrounded by his family at home.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Pastor Jeff Bream of Northview Christian Church officiating. Interment will follow at Lockwood Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Edward was born June 23, 1939 to James Edward and Ina Mae (Sellers) Parshall in Kinderhook Township. After graduating from high school, Edward completed one year of agricultural studies at Michigan State University. He married Diane Blashfield on October 26, 1963 in Tekonsha.
Edward has been a lifelong farmer, but he also worked at Quality Springs in Coldwater from 1963 until 1972 as a laborer.
He was a member of the NRA. Edward loved working on his farm and especially with his horses. He enjoyed cutting wood, fishing, hunting, traveling and reading westerns.
Edward is survived by his wife, Diane; his children, Connie R. (Doug) Doolittle of Edwardsburg, Jeffrey A. (Sharon) Parshall of Reading, Lisa K. (Jeff) Palmer of Quincy, Edward E. (Jennifer) Parshall of Quincy; eight grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; his sisters, Alice (Densmore) Cross of Sherwood, Marilyn (Martin) Lepper of Coldwater and his sister in law, Ann Parshall of Colon. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Kenneth and Gary Parshall.
