David E.  Rohloff
David E. Rohloff, 72, of Coldwater, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2015 at the Towne House Retirement Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 13, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Coldwater with Rev. Fr. Mark Vyverman officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery with military honors presented by the American Legion #52, Drill Team. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 12, 2015 from 4-7:00 PM, with the Rosary to begin at 7:00PM, at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
David was born March 13, 1943 in Pontiac, MI to Phillip & Annie (Hattig) Rohloff. He served in the US Air Force and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
Mr. Rohloff worked for over 30 years for Lincoln National Life in Ft. Wayne, retiring in 2005. He was a former member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, where he had served on the board and was active in the Knights of Columbus. David currently belonged to St. Charles Borromeo Church in Coldwater and St. Vincent de Paul in Ft. Wayne. He was a member of the Coldwater Eagles, an avid Notre Dame fan and enjoyed fishing and sports.
David is survived by his children Dan (Melaine) Rohloff, Alan (Brina) Rohloff, Jennifer Rohloff, all of Ft. Wayne, his siblings Mary (Paul) Pierson of Quincy, John (Joan) Rohloff of Coldwater, Michelle Rohloff of Adrian and his grandchildren Samantha, Grace, Chloe and Nicholas.
He was preceded in death by his brother Frank Rohloff, sister Teresa Rittenhouse and infant brothers Phillip & Lee Rohloff.
