Ralph Church, 91 of Coldwater passed away on Friday, July 03, 2015 at Drews Place of Coldwater while surrounded by family.

A memorial service will take place at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Pastor David Pierce from First Baptist Church of Coldwater officiating. Interment has already taken place at Batavia Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the memorial service starting at 12:00 Noon.

Ralph was born October 2, 1923 to Benjamin and Eva “Fern” (Michael) Church in Angola. He graduated high school and began his long career as a farmer, working many years at MG Bailey Farms. On July 26, 1948 he married the love of his life, Evelyn Waller. She preceded him in death on March 6, 2011.

Ralph was a very active man. He was part of the Merry Mixers and a 4-H Leader. Ralph did a lot of volunteer work with both Maple Lawn and also delivering Meals on Wheels. He was a hardworking provider for his family. Ralph enjoyed traveling, where he had been in all 50 states. He was an avid Tigers fan. He will be remembered as a good storyteller, a gentle & caring man who never complained. Mostly he relished spending time with his family.

Mr. Church is survived by his sons Michael (Deb) Church and Dan (Barbara) Church all of Coldwater; his siblings Pearl (Larry) Miner of Montgomery and Dean (Becky) Church of Woodhaven; his grandchildren Deavon Church of Newark, DE, Derek Church of Coldwater, Loren (Teila) Adams of Sherwood, and Leonie (John) DeStefano of Sayville, NY; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Evelyn Church; his siblings Jacob Church, Ruby Beckman, Delson Church, Opal Adams, and Glen Church; his great granddaughter Laci D. Adams.
