Sandra (Bussing) Deal
Sandra Kay Deal, 71, of Coldwater, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo.
The funeral service will be Friday, July 3, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the New Life Tabernacle Church, 300 Smith St., Coldwater, with Pastor Jeffrey Waid officiating. Interment has taken place at Lakeview Cemetery in Quincy. Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Sandra was born April 28, 1944 in Coldwater, MI to Leeland & Anita (Stahlhood) Rodgers. She married George W. Bussing on June 11, 1961 in Coldwater, he preceded her in death on April 27, 1981. She then married Walter S. Deal on October 13, 1984 in Coldwater.
Sandy was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker. She was a member of the New Life Tabernacle Church and enjoyed playing Bingo and exploring garage sales. Sandy, most of all, treasured time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Sandy is survived by her husband Walter, her daughters Anita (Teg) Garn of Quincy, Darlene Bussing of Battle Creek, her brother and sister John Rodgers of Alabama, DeeAnn (Jim) Miller of Flushing, her grandchildren Jennifer Garn, Kevin Garn, Jason Pancost, Cassondra Kellogg, Allison Pancost, great grandchildren Rachael Peters, Calvin Garn, Evelyn Garn, Autumn Burley, Jayden Burley, Matthew Burley, Braeden Pancost, Bryce Pancost, Brooke Pancost and Leon Hoffman. In addition to her first husband, she was also preceded in death by her sister and brothers Betty Reese, Patrick and Lincoln Rodgers.
Memorials may be directed to the family to help with funeral expenses.
