Obituary for Elizabeth C. Neveraski

Elizabeth Clara Neveraski, 95, formerly of Bronson passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Thurston Woods Village in Sturgis.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, February 20, 2015 at St. Mary of Assumption Church in Bronson with Rev. Fr. Richard Fritz officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Bronson. Visitation will be on Thursday, February 19, 2015 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM with Rosary to be recited at 7:00PM at Dutcher-Kolcz Funeral Home in Bronson.
Elizabeth was born July 20, 1919 to Michael and Emma (Rurka) Ludwick in Bronson. On November 24, 1935, she married the love of her life Martin Neveraski at St. Mary’s in Bronson. He preceded her in death on December 15, 1977. After marriage, Elizabeth began a long working career in Bronson at LA Darling and then K & W Manufacturing, retiring in 1982.
Elizabeth was a life-long member of St. Mary’s Church, where she also served in the Rosary Society. She was a life member of the Bronson American Legion Auxiliary. Elizabeth was an avid card player, especially euchre. She enjoyed playing bingo, reading, baking special birthday desserts for the family, and cooking her family favorite fried chicken. Most of all she relished her spending time with her family and playing with the grandchildren.
Mrs. Neveraski is survived by her children Maurice “Morris” (Phyllis) Neveraski of Granger, IN, Roger Neveraski of Goodyear, AZ, and Karen Crabtree of Bronson; nine grandchildren and many great and great, great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son Duane Neveraski; her son-in-law Randy Crabtree; her siblings Albert Ludwick, Ed Ludwick, Harry Ludwick, Alex Ludwick, Sylvester “Syl” Ludwick, Agnes Ross, Teresa Herman and Martha Hecht.
Memorials may be directed to St. Mary’s of Assumption Church or the Alzheimer’s Association.
