Obituary for Nancy E. Younce

Nancy E. Younce, 60, of Coldwater, formerly of Bronson, passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at the Community Health Center of Branch County. A private family service will be held at a later date. According to Nancy’s wishes cremation has taken place. Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher-Kolcz Funeral Home in Bronson.
Nancy was born June 27, 1954 in Coldwater, MI to Nolan & Barbara (Gwilt) Hooker and graduated from Bronson High School in 1972. She raised her family in Bronson, where she was an active member of the community. As her children were growing up, Nancy served as a volunteer in the schools, where she later worked as a paraprofessional. She had a true passion for children and made every child feel special. She loved to do all kinds of crafts and had a talent for decorating, that she passed on to her daughter. She also enjoyed making scrapbooks for her children and grandchildren. Nancy was always willing to help others and would put other people’s needs above her own. She had a pure generosity of heart. God has gained a true angel.
Nancy is survived by her beloved children Lance Younce of Memphis, TN, Kendra (Jason) Haid of Lafayette, IN and Cassandra Younce of Carmel, IN. Her pride and joy in her life were her grandchildren, Madison Younce, Kennedy and Ellie Haid whom she loved dearly. She is also survived by her sisters Dee (Michael) Barney, Nora (David) Brandt, her brother Rick (Linda) Hooker, her adoring nieces and nephews Barb (Eric) McNamara, Janet (Chad) Allen, Jeff (Isabelle) Hooker, Rick (April) Hooker, Matt Brandt, MacKenzie (Jamie) Stuck and many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. www.dutcherfh.com.
