Obituary for Lillian J. Heator

Lillian J. Heator, 76, of Coldwater, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at the Community Health Center of Branch County, surrounded by her family and close friends.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at 4:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater. The family will receive friends, prior to the service, beginning at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment of Ashes will take place at Sorter Cemetery.
Lillian was born September 19, 1938 in Hillsdale County to Max & Wilma (Hand) Cramer. She married George W. Heator on August 4, 1957 in Coldwater, he preceded her in death on Nov. 5, 2004.
Mrs. Heator worked for the Coldwater Community Schools for many years as a Parapro and in the cafeteria. After her retirement, she had also been a greeter at Wal Mart.
Lillian was involved in 4H for over 20 years as a leader. She was a skilled seamstress and an excellent cook. She loved to make wedding cakes, travel, attend auctions and search for the perfect find in an antique shop. Lillian enjoyed watching all sports, especially when it involved one of her grandchildren.
Lillian is survived by her son Gregory (Carrie) Heator of Angola, IN, her daughters Tambra (Gary) Hurley of Coldwater, Shelly (Steve) Maddox of Bronson, her grandchildren Bryan Hurley, Garrett Heator, Stacy Hyska, Kristen Burrows, Spencer Maddox, Kayla Heator, Sawyer Maddox, 2 great grandchildren Matthew and Gavin and her best friend/sister Vicky Crawford. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her sister Bonnie Thomas.
