Dorothy I. Bradley, 92, of Girard Twp., passed away on January 17, 2015 at Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall.
The funeral service will be Thursday, January 22, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Pastor Terry Siler from the First Congregational Church in Bronson officiating. Interment will follow at West Girard Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 21, 2015 from 4-6:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home.
Dorothy was born December 28, 1922 to John and Freda M. (Smith) Mulligan in Farmer Twp., Ohio. On March 2, 1946, she married Leon M. Bradley in Coldwater, he preceded her in death on February 21, 2014.
Mrs. Bradley was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker and she helped operate the family farm, with her husband. She had, at one time, attended the Church of the Brethren in Ohio. Dorothy was an excellent cook and enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening. She was very creative in handwriting and painting and she was a skilled seamstress.
Dorothy is survived by her children Michael (Chris) Bradley of Union City, Larry Bradley of Bronson, Jerry D. (Janet) Bradley of Rockford, her granddaughters Amy Bradley, Lisa Bradley and her brother-in-law Harold Bradley of Coldwater. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law Fern (Lloyd) Bowman.
