Delmar E. "Jim"  Alleshouse
Delmar “Jim” E. Alleshouse, 65, of Quincy, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2015 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo.
A service will be held on Friday, January 16, 2015 at 5:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Rev. John W. Landis from the Union Church in Quincy officiating. Visitation will take place, prior to the service, beginning at 3:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home.
Jim was born September 11, 1949 in Coldwater to Pauline (Jones) Alleshouse. He served with the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
Mr. Alleshouse was a long haul truck driver and heavy equipment operator and had worked on many building projects in Coldwater. He loved living life on a farm and broke and trained horses for many years. Jim loved to keep busy and was known to be able to fix just about anything. He was a member of the Coldwater Eagles and enjoyed sports.
Jim is survived by his daughter Melissa Alleshouse, his son Todd Alleshouse (Amy Ultz) all of Coldwater, mother Pauline Foley of Coldwater, siblings Richard (Alice) Foley of Maine, Linda Cline of Coldwater, Patricia Madison of Ionia, Karen (Gerald) Derrickson, Carol (Ron) Sprague both of Coldwater, “brother” Dale (Kathy) Foley of Quincy, 9 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather Ernest Foley. www.dutcherfh.com.
