Patricia “Pat” Ann Timm, 74 of Coldwater passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Maple Lawn in Coldwater while surrounded by family.

In following Pat’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Her family will have a Celebration of Life Service at a later date. The family was cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.

Patricia was born July 1, 1940 to Richard G. and Eloise (Hill) Holben in Coldwater. After graduation from high school, Pat continued her education at Western Michigan University. She spent many years working before retiring as an Administrative Assistant from the Branch Area Career Center. Pat was a long-term cancer survivor and advocate of curing the disease. She participated in several support systems for cancer survivors and was involved in Reach to Recovery.

Pat will be remembered as a caring and friendly woman. She was very artistic and enjoyed drawing and collecting heart shaped rocks. Pat was a very spiritual person who practiced both meditation and Tai Chi. She was a very curious person, researching many topics to increase her knowledge and understanding of the subject at hand. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Patricia is survived by her sons Rick (Dawn) Timm of St. Johns and Greg (Andrea) Timm of Marquette; her brothers Richard (Mary) Holben of Coldwater and Robert (Sandra) Holben of Harbor Springs; her grandchildren Chance & Rohn Timm. She was preceded in death by her parents.
