Dolores J.  Ludwick
Dolores J. Ludwick, 93, of Bronson passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2014 surrounded by her family at home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary of Assumption Church with Rev. Fr. Richard Fritz officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 from 2 – 8:00 PM with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM at Dutcher-Kolcz Funeral Home in Bronson. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bronson.
Dolores was born on December 10, 1921 to Joseph Seiler and Marie (Deck) Neib in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. She attended grade school at St. Joseph Catholic School in Hessencastle, Indiana and then moved with her parents to Bronson in 1936 and attended Bronson High School.
Dolores married Florian Ludwick Sr. on April 22, 1939 at St. Mary of Assumption Catholic Church, Bronson. He preceded her in death on November 29, 1992.
She worked at Darling Manufacturing Co. in Bronson during World War II, but she was mainly a homemaker. She was a member of St. Mary’s Rosary Society, Sacred Heart Society, Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxillary and St. Mary of Assumption Catholic Church. Dolores volunteered at St. Mary’s, Knights of Columbus, Bronson Polish Festival and the Blood and Food Banks in Bronson.
Dolores is survived by her sons; Charles (Vicky) Ludwick of Sault Ste. Marie, Thomas (Karen) Ludwick of Quincy, Dan (Cheryl) Ludwick, Randy (Faith) Ludwick, Rock (Kathy) Ludwick, daughters; Tami Ludwick and Kari Ludwick , all of Bronson, 42 Grandchildren, 32 Great Grandchildren, sisters; Joan Yesh of Bronson, Frances Kowalski of Tekonsha, Marietta (Art) Roushkolb of Las Vegas, NV., Jackie (Elmer) Houghton of Wayland, step sisters; Annie Carteaux and Lucy (Jim) Monnier both of Ft. Wayne, IN. She was preceded in death by sons; Ted and Butch, brothers; John and Joseph Seiler.
