Obituary for Wanda J. Hurlburt

Wanda J. Hurlburt, 84, of Coldwater, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2014 at the Laurels of Coldwater.
In following Wanda’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal funeral services will take place. Arrangements were cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.
Wanda was born July 22, 1930 to Lynville and Inez (Shell) Bliss in Buffalo, Indiana. She graduated from high school and then began a long career with RBC/MPC in Coldwater. Wanda began working as a press operator before moving up in the company as a quality control specialist before retiring in 1992. She married Floyd Hurlburt on June 21, 1958.
Wanda loved spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren. She enjoyed camping and family outings. Wanda also liked knitting, where she made many items including afghans. She had a soft spot for animals. Wanda will be remembered as being outgoing and friendly. She will be missed by many.
Mrs. Hurlburt is survived by her husband of 56 years, Floyd Hurlburt of Coldwater; her children Floyd (Loretta) Hurlburt of Coldwater and Daniel (Melanie) Hurlburt of Texas; her sisters Ethel Spencer of Logansport, IN and Roberta Burkey of Georgia; her brother Len Bliss of Peru, IN; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Jerry Osborne and her son Joe Foster.
