Joyce H. Ernsberger, 90, of Bronson, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2014, at her home.
The funeral service will be Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 10:30 AM at Dutcher-Kolcz Funeral Home in Bronson with Pastor Terry Siler from the First Congregational Church officiating. Interment will follow at Bronson Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, October 10, 2014 from 2-8:00 PM at Dutcher-Kolcz Funeral Home.
Joyce was born December 30, 1923 in St. Joseph County to Jessie & Margaret (Milliman)Wells. She married Merland Ernsberger June 14, 1947 in Angola, IN, he preceded her in death on March 14, 1988.
Joyce worked briefly at LA Darling in Bronson then for many years at Maxitrol in Colon, retiring in 1986. She enjoyed going to the casino, playing cards and Bingo. Joyce loved to cook and spend time with her family and was known to many for her infectious laugh.
Joyce is survived by her children Richard Ernsberger of Bronson, JoAnn (Robert) Tenney of Sherwood, her brother Max (Hattie) Wells of Bronson, sisters-in-law Debra Wells of Sturgis, Jean Wells of Burr Oak and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by brothers Raymond, Robert and Howard (Katherin)Wells.
