Obituary for Kaye G. Greenawalt

Kaye G. Greenawalt, 76, of Coldwater, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at her home.
In following Kaye’s wishes, she will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date. The family is being served by Dutcher Funeral Home of Coldwater.
Kaye was born December 29, 1937 to Kaye and Virginia (Hoffman) Carlson in Detroit. Upon graduation from high school, Kaye studied design in college. She married William B. Greenawalt on September 13, 1975 in Toledo, OH. Prior to her marriage to William, Kaye owned and operated KT Manufacturing in Toledo, where they produced wood décor products.
Kaye was a very ambitious woman with an entrepreneurial spirit. She started the Mitered Corner making picture frames and selling home décor items. Kaye grew the business for 25 years and had three locations in Toledo before she sold the company and retired in 1996. She enjoyed many things including traveling the world, doing design work, and making crafts. Kaye was a member of the North Chain Yacht Club and the Coldwater Garden Club.
Mrs. Greenawalt is survived by her husband William; step-children Sarah E.Greenawalt – Trimble of Terre Haute, IN and Bruce Greenawalt of Toledo, OH; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her 1st husband Robert Terkleson, and her sister Judy Raby.
