Obituary for Eloise Mae Adams

Eloise Mae Adams, 79, of Coldwater passed away on April 10, 2014 while surrounded by family at the Laurels of Coldwater.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Pastor Nelson Brandymore of the Free Methodist Church in Coldwater officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Litchfield. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.

Eloise was born December 22, 1934 to Floyd and Hope (Kratzer) Daglow in Coldwater. After graduation from Litchfield High School, she began a long career working for the State School in Coldwater. After the school closed, she enjoyed working at Betty’s Market.

Eloise was a loving mother, grand-mother, and great grand-mother. She was a hardworking, independent, and out-spoken person. Eloise had many hobbies including many types of crafts, painting, knitting, and crocheting. She enjoyed being outside and spent many hours gardening. Eloise had a soft spot for collecting all types of dolls.

Eloise is survived by her sons Larry D. (Stephanie) Adams of Long Beach, WA, Lynn D. (Victoria) Adams of CA, Les D. (Katie Rody) Adams of Coldwater, and Lloyd D. (Brenda) Adams of Coldwater; brothers Neal (Barbara) Daglow of FL and Dean (Diane) Daglow of Homer; brother-in-law Jerry Spier of Reading; grand-children Loren D Adams, Leonie DeStefano, Blane Adams, Melissa Adams, Nicholas D. Adams, McKenzie Adams, Lindsey Adams, Nicole Adams, Natalie Adams, Brooke Adams, Maranda Underwood, and Levi Adams; 15 great grand-children; many nieces and nephews and all the neighborhood children. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Linda Sue Adams; ex-husband Lyle D. Adams; sisters Lona Spier and Lois Gunst; great grand-daughter Lacey Adams.
