Doris J. Noble, 78, of Coldwater, passed away Friday, September 27, 2013 at Community Health Center of Branch County.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at Floral Lawn Cemetery in Battle Creek.
Doris was born November 18, 1934 in Burlington Twp., to Hurley and Vinnie (Jones) Burns. She had attended Union City High School and graduated in 1953. She had been a resident of Coldwater for more than 20 years and had worked at Holbrook Patterson, retiring in 1998 after 32 years of service. Doris was a member of the Eagles, 1907, and the American Legion, Post 52 Auxiliaries.
Doris is survived by her brother Ira (Marjorie) Burns of Albion, former husband Norman Noble, grandson Jason Noble of Battle Creek and great-grandson Jackson Noble of Battle Creek, 3 nephews and two nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Jack Noble in 1986, sister Wilma Blodgett, brother Robert H. Burns and longtime companion Richard C. Dupslaff.
