Obituary for Cheryl L. Esterline

Cheryl Lynn Esterline, 59, of Coldwater, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Pastor Shayne Looper officiating. Interment will follow at South Allen Cemetery in Allen Township. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Monday, July 1, 2013 at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Cheryl was born on November 7, 1953 in Wyandotte to Fred J. and Virgel G. (Welch) Thatcher. She graduated from Coldwater High School in 1971 and married John C. Esterline on July 1, 1989 in Findlay, Ohio. Cheryl lived in Coldwater since 1989, but had spent several years in Ohio.
Mrs. Esterline had worked for 13 years at Shoppers Guide in Coldwater. She was a member of the Eagle’s Auxiliary, Arie 1907 in Coldwater and the Eagle Riders. Cheryl enjoyed making jewelry, riding on their motorcycle, spending time with her grandchildren and going to card club with friends. She also had a great love for horses.
Cheryl is survived by her husband, John, her son Shawn (Angi Davis) Blanton of Louisville, KY, her daughter Shannon Stickle of Coldwater, her brothers Fred “James” (Sue) Thatcher of Sterling, CO, Franklin (Candy) Thatcher of Coldwater, her grandchildren Nicholas Blanton, Tyler Stickle, Grace Davis and Tyson McKinley, her mother Virgel Thatcher of Coldwater and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her father Fred Thatcher.
Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or a charity of one’s choice.
