Obituary for Betty Lou Nottingham

Betty Lou Nottingham, 81, of Coldwater, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2013 at the Laurels of Coldwater.
The funeral service for Betty Lou will be Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Reverend Dennis Little from Let’s Talk about Jesus Ministries officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Quincy. Visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 AM at Dutcher Funeral Home.
Betty Lou was born October 19, 1931 in Fargo, North Dakota to Clifford & Beulah (Hanson) Brown. She married Holly Nottingham, Jr. on July 11, 1953 in Castalia, Ohio. He preceded her in death on August 25, 2008.
Mrs. Nottingham loved creating ceramics and began the “Ladybug” ceramic shop which she operated for many years. She was also a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker. Betty Lou was a member of the Coldwater Eagles and enjoyed creating stained glass pieces. She loved to spend time outdoors and go fishing with her husband. Betty Lou loved people and always had a smile to pass on.
Betty Lou is survived by her sons Clifford (Debra) Nottingham of Toledo, OH, Robert (Ranay) Nottingham of Sherwood, her brother Robert Brown of Toledo, OH, her grandchildren Michelle, Nicole, Ray, Angel and Melissa and 4 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her brother James Brown.
Memorials may be directed to the Laurels Activity Fund or the Alzheimer’s Association.
