Lois A. Oaks, 68, of Coldwater, formerly of Three Rivers, passed away unexpectedly at the Laurels of Coldwater on Sunday, October 9, 2011.


A memorial service will be held at 4:30 P.M. on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Riverside Church in Three Rivers.


Lois was born on January 16, 1943 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She had worked as an L.P.N. at a nursing home for many years. Lois had lived in Alabama for several years and in Brooklyn, MI for several years where she bartended at Diz’s Harvey House.


Mrs. Oaks is survived by her sons Scott (Tammy) Schipper and Ronald (Kim) Schipper, both of AL, her daughters Theresa Williams-Holdren of Sturgis, Dawn (Dave) Heath of Three Rivers and Kathy (Danny) McCulcheon of SC, her brother Terry Hagan of Fruitport and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
