A private family service will be on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at the Oak Grove Cemetery Chapel with Pastor Harold Jewell officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery. A public visitation will be held on Monday, June 11, 2012 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.

Michael was born in Coldwater, Michigan to Lawrence D. and Marjorie (Thompson) Easterday. He was preceded in death by his birth father and was raised by Robert Borland. He served honorably in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War where he was a mechanic.

Michael had worked for Federal Mogul for 30 years, which took him from Coldwater to Piedmont, AL and then to Frankfort, IN where he spent 20 years of his life. He then moved to Logansport, IN and for the past 13 years he has resided in Marshall, MI. After his career with Federal Mogul, he purchased Camshaft Machine Company in Jackson.
